tYour vehicle is first of all inspected and an assessment is made whilst you are present, we will talk you through the process involved and answer any questions you have. You then go off and enjoy yourself for the day while we get on with the dirty stuff! We are a 600yds away from the main East Coast railway line or we can provide you with a car for just £25.
Your vehicle is firstly cleaned. A 2200psi pressure washer is used to get your vehicle spotlessly clean, all loose rust and under-seal will also be removed during this process.
Your vehicle is now dried thoroughly in a purpose built booth which completely dries the vehicle’s structure inside and out, before being sprayed with a combination of driers and corrosion inhibiters. Any excessive rust is then coated in Brunox Epoxy Convertor prior to further treatment.
Wheel arch liners, Interior trim including door cards, sill covers, boot carpets etc. are then removed to gain access to all box sections and internal structures. Remaining interior trim, Braking and electrical systems are also carefully covered. We try to get to all box sections without resorting to drilling, however some areas are impossible to reach, so as a last resort we will try to drill in an inconspicuous area, on 99% of vehicles this is not necessary, we will always consult you before this is done.
Only after a further inspection to ensure your vehicle is completely dry, will we apply the Waxoyl to your vehicle. We use black Waxoyl underneath as this gives a pleasing appearance but we can treat your vehicle with a clear Waxoyl if you prefer. All boxes and internal structures are coated, an average car will receive around 15 litres of wax, larger vehicles and 4x4s will receive as much as 25 litres. The whole process from start to finish takes between 5 and 8 hours dependent on the amount of preparation required
Your car is then left to dry before having wheel arch liners, trim, door cards etc. refitted. All excess wax is then removed from the coach work.
On your return the car will be inspected again and signed off.

For the cost of a decent set of tyres you have taken an effective step towards its long term preservation. Maintenance costs will be lower and you should get an easier ride come the dreaded MOT.
