Terms and Conditions

BOOKINGS AND CANCELLATIONS

Bookings can be made verbally or by e-mail. Alternatively booking forms can be printed off and sent to the address on the form. To simplify matters we no longer require a deposit to secure a booking, all we ask is that you double check that you will be able to make the appointment.
Cancellations must be made no later than 7 days before your appointment. Cancellation after this date will incur a £25 fee. In the unlikely event that we have to cancel your appointment you will automatically receive a 10% discount on rebooking.
 Cancellations on our part are extremely rare but problems can always arise. We try to ensure we have emergency measures in place and have spare equipment but this is sometimes not enough and we have no option but to cancel. In the event of problems we will endeavor to contact you in time and rebook. If a problem should arise after you have departed or during a treatment you will receive a voucher entitling you to a £100 discount on rebooking (please note, to this day we have never been in this situation, but it helps to be prepared).

WARRANTY

 All waxworks treatments are guaranteed for quality of workmanship for 3 years. Re-treatment is recommended every 3-5 years dependent on the vehicle’s usage, age and condition. It is recommended however that the treatment is inspected annually, there is no charge for inspections although an inspection will have to be booked in advance. The treatments aim is to prevent corrosion, it cannot rid your vehicle of existing rust. Any areas with serious corrosion already present will be noted and that area will not be covered by warranty. Waxoyl has a rust inhibitor that will slow down existing rust but will not remove it! Please note there is a difference between what is termed rust and terminal rot!
It is recommended that you follow your vehicle manufacturer’s recommendations regarding cleaning of vehicle’s undersides and regular inspections. Rustproofing is not an excuse to neglect proper maintenance and care of your vehicle!. We try to ensure that every vehicle we treat is done to the very highest standards attainable but  if you are not entirely satisfied with our service we will endeavor to rectify any problem you may have.

Nationwide Collection and Delivery Service

Our experienced drivers are fully insured up to a value of £50,000. If your vehicle is valued above this amount please contact us and we will arrange additional cover for a small extra fee. Please ensure that your vehicle is roadworthy and has a full tank of fuel. If a driver has to put additional fuel in the vehicle then he will provide a receipt for that fuel which is payable in cash on your vehicles return. Please note that vehicles will be inspected for damage on collection and at delivery- please take a little time to carry this inspection out with our driver and once satisfied please sign the check sheet. We do aim to have a maximum three day turnaround on treatments but this depends on distance, vehicle complexity and collection and delivery times. We do aim to get your vehicle back as soon as humanly possible but things like weather and road closures can have an impact on timings. Please bare this in mind when booking.
